          The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is an organization comprised of parents, teachers and staff. 
The PTA encourages parental involvement on any level and thereby provides opportunities for parents to stay connected with the school and their children. 
The PTA is an important resource for all families and advocates for the educational success and well-being of every child.
          Each PTA develops its own by-laws, elects officers, and holds regular monthly meetings. 
Every public school in New York City must have one.  
          The PTA helps parents learn about the school, share ideas, and enrich the school. The specific roles of the PTA at PS 69 are to participate in many of the Teams that support/enrich our school, coordinate and organize fundraisers, workshops, and family events. 
         Join us for meetings, volunteer at a function, get involved, and earn your A.P.P.S.
